Banks Turrets 51B and
52A, well-preserved turret with adjoining stretches of Hadrian’s Wall. This
section of the wall was built with turf plus stone
turrets and milecastles.

sections by different teams, in some places the break The break between the
construction of the turret with short side walls The day I visited and took these photos it was raining hard. Like all stone it has more colour when wet.
