Old World warblers

Order: Passeriformes Family: Sylviidae Links Old World warblers

A group of small, insectivorous passerine birds. Most are of generally undistinguished appearance, but many have distinctive songs. There are about 408 species worldwide, 49 found  in Britain.

Some include Kinglets (Goldcrest and Firecrest) within this group, not included within the 49 count. We have not.
