Where to Apply Locally for Bus
Passes or Concessionary Fares
Concessionary fares on local bus
travel are available from your local authority of individuals age 60 and over,
the disabled, and some students. We have put together a list here of those local
authorities we have been able to get direct links to the concessionary fare page
on their websites. To find out more for your local area click on a link below -
either your local county council or district council may be listed. Many of the
websites have application forms which can be printed off.
The links below will
take you to the bus passes section
of the website, if your local authority is not listed then try this
A-Z of Local Authorities
- although you'll have to search for the bus
pass/concessionary travel
page.
The following are direct links
to the local council websites we have been able to identify so far:

If any of these links should stop
working
- If you are trying to access it on a
weekend, then please try again during the week as some councils turn their
computers off over weekend and bank holiday periods.
- If it is a week day, first give it ago
another time just to make sure the website or internet connection wasn't
experiencing a problem.
- If an error page appears then visit the
website home page and then look under the Transport Link, where you will
either find a link to Bus Passes, Concessionary Travel or Public Transport
and then Bus Pass.
If after
doing the above you still have a problem, please let us know and we will do
our best to correct it. |
